Decyfer Down Christian rock bands is an American Christian alternative metal/hard rock band formed in 1999 and based in Morehead City, North Carolina. Up until 2002–the year that Chris Clonts joined the band–they went by the moniker Allysonhymn (pronounced All-eyes-on-Him). Following Clonts' arrival they switched to their current name, Decyfer Down.

In 2008, this Christian rock bands toured with Thousand Foot Krutch and Skillet, one of the Christian rock bands on the Comatose Tour of approximately 30 cities from March 28 to May 11, 2008. This tour had 60% of the venue's sold out which placed it Pollstar's Top 50 Tours]

Decyfer Down Christian rock bands was originally formed in 1999  as Allysonhymn by guitarist Brandon Mills and drummer Josh Oliver. Formerly an acoustic outfit, the group eventually switched to a more rock-oriented sound. Josh Oliver's brother Caleb later joined the band as a bass player, followed in 2002 by guitarist Chris Clonts. His arrival gave the band "a new sound and purpose" and they began to play with mainstream artists such as Puddle of Mudd, Breaking Benjamin, Crossfade and Adema. The group's new sound called for a new name. "I kid you not...I opened the dictionary and there's the word decipher," Clonts says. "We have three pages of names and I open the dictionary and find this word."

This Christian rock bands has had six singles reach #1 on the Christian rock charts, and has toured nationally in support of their albums End of Grey, and Crash.

In the fall of 2006, Decyfer Down Christian rock bands joined Pillar, one of the Christian rock bands on their "Days of The Reckoning Tour". The tour lasted from October through November and also featured Day of Fire and The Showdown.

Decyfer Down Christian rock bands is touring with Skillet and Disciple, one of the Christian rock bands in early/mid 2009, and once again with Skillet and Hawk Nelson in the fall. The band has been posting pictures from the tour on their MySpace page.
