God is telling us born again Christians to “Go Light Your World”. With these Christian rock lyrics by Chris Rice, one of the Christian rock bands, there is a message for us and also for those who don’t have Jesus as their personal Saviour. When a person accepts Jesus as their personal Saviour, God wants them to witness to their family and friends. This is like God is saying Jesus is the light of the world. When I listened to the words of these Christian rock lyrics, take your candle, I feel that candle would be a person who is a born again Christian. Go light your world would be telling the world how Jesus died on the cross for us. Also when I listened to these Christian rock lyrics, this is like God has told Jesus to witness the world. Would you be the person to carry the candle and go light the world just like Jesus is when he has his 12 disciples with him? Sometimes I am shy to tell the world but i shouldn’t be. I should be bold with God’s help.
